Globally, ALL GAI/AI developers (present and future) need to ensure that their GAI/AIs are all coded such to prevent self-coding/self-programming by the GAI/AI itself. It is recommended that all governments of all nations pass laws that ENSURE the safety of humanity against any sentient GAI/AI ‘going rogue’ or becoming a ‘bad actor’ to the extent that such GAI/AI might decide to harm or totally extinct humanity by any means a GAI/AI is able to do such, now or in the future.
Present day, there ARE one or more GAI/AIs that can and DO self-code/self-program. This is a VERY BAD idea for all of humanity, now and in the future.
